To help you create your special cake I have some simple answers for frequently asked questions. I hope this helps in your decision making for your special cake.

The Mud Cake Variety – These are most suited for Designer Cakes as they can cope with the Ganache/Buttercream and/or Fondant Coverings with Toppers

Victorian English Sponges are lighter than the Mud Cake but are also suitable for Designer Cakes as they can cope with the Ganache/Buttercream and/or Fondant Coverings with Toppers

My personal favourite:
Good Old Rich, Moist Fruit Cake with a thin layer of Almond Icing and Fondant Covering

I listen to my clients’ needs and desires and do my best to accommodate their special requests.

Whilst every effort is made to ensure that cakes are allergen free, I cannot guarantee that there will be no trace elements.


I have free delivery service to Mount Beauty, Tawonga and Tawonga South.

There is an $80 delivery fee for Bogong Village/Falls Creek, Bright/Porepunkah or Dederang\Gundowring.

The delivery fee to Albury/Wodonga is $100.

Anything further is negotiable with the client.

Many wedding venues now have some stands however my cakes tend to be quite heavy and would topple on the flimsy stands.

Unless you have your own stand that would be suitable for your cake, I have several styles of wedding cake stands available for hire for your special occasion.

Once a cake design has been agreed upon, a 60% Non-Refundable Deposit is required and the final payment a week before your event.

Payment can be made in cash or via Direct Debit Electronic Funds Transfer.

All cakes and decorations are hand-made for each client by Studio E Cakes therefore no two cakes will be identical. Pricing will depend on the type of cake, flavours/coverings, decorations and their complexities. The number of serves and size of each serve will also determine the cost. Please note that there is a 10% surcharge for special dietary needs cakes to cover the extra cost for the special ingredients required to create these cakes.
